Description
Villa Piedra is a nice Majorcan semi detached country house placed in the beautiful area of Boquer, very close to Port Pollensa and its beaches. The villa has been renovated as a holiday home and the work has been done with a great sensitivity to the buildings’ original design and decoration.
The great mountains at the back make a dramatic backdrop; the villa is cool and rustic with thick stone walls, high beamed ceilings, and original tiled floors. There is some beautiful antique Majorcan furniture here, some of it original to the house.
On the ground floor there is a spacious rustic lounge and dining room, which is reached by an exterior doorway. The kitchen combines traditional design with the latest fittings such as electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Double doors lead out onto the barbecue area and exterior terraces with views of the mountains beyond. One exterior full bathroom is also situated near the barbecue area.
The bedrooms are all upstairs and they consist of two twins (one of them with an en suite full bathroom) and a double bedroom. All bedrooms have air-conditioning. A further full bathroom completes this upper level of the villa.
The garden and pool are really well designed. Stone sun-terraces run around a rectangular pool with plants pots around it. The views from the pool area are amazing, overlooking the whole resort of Port Pollensa.
Villa Piedra is a house with lots of historic character. It is a lovely place for a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a group of friends or family. It is in a very nice countryside on Mallorca and so it also makes a good base for walking, bird-watching, sketching and cycling. The historic town of Pollensa is also just a 10-minute drive from here, and the beach and sea at Puerto Pollensa at only 10 minutes walk.
Finally, it has to be pointed out that the villa offers free Internet connection (Wi-Fi). The villa also offers a trekking/trail running circuit of 310 metres. THE LOCAL TOURIST TAX IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE.

Sehr schönes Landhaus mit herrlichem Pool und fantastischem Garten. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Liegt etwas ausserhalb, Supermarkt (Eroski) ist aber zu Fuß in 10 min zu erreichen, zu Fuß zum Hafen ca. 20 min. Sehr freundlicher Eigentümer, der sich um den see more

Liegt etwas ausserhalb, Supermarkt (Eroski) ist aber zu Fuß in 10 min zu erreichen, zu Fuß zum Hafen ca. 20 min. Sehr freundlicher Eigentümer, der sich um den Pool kümmert. Zahlreiche Sitzgruppen im Freien, besonders praktisch die Aussenküche mit Grill und mit direktem Zugang zur Küche im Haus. Hier kann man auch sitzen, wenn es mal regnet, oder stürmt (wir waren im November dort). Viel Platz um bis zu 3 Autos abzustellen. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.
